Another from my Irish mythology mural series for a Gaelscoil in Dublin. As the title suggests, this mural depicts a journey. It is situated futher along a corridor from another mural called “Departure” where the journey begins. Here, the characters joining the travellers include: Fionn Mac Cumhaill and his two wolfhounds (Bran and Sceolan) a stag, the children of Lír (swans) Niamh of the Golder hair, and her white horse from Tír na nOg…..also, as usual, the hare is present, showing us the way.
