In this story Cú Chulainn survives an encounter with a ferocious hound, by delivering a fatal blow with his hurl and sliotar. As the audience for this Irish mythology series are primary school kids, I have reinterpreted the story putting a spin of friendship and harmony on an otherwise violent tale. Here a loyal wolfhound beseeches our hero to play fetch….much more age appropriate!
